Overview

Our goal is to foster collaborative discussion on challenging pediatric neuromuscular cases, enhance our collective knowledge, and improve patient care. Case Conference Director: Michael A. Lopez, MD, PhD.

Learning Objectives: 

  • Present and discuss challenging pediatric neuromuscular cases including:
    • Atypical presentations of common disorders
    • Rare pediatric neuromuscular disorders
    • Safety and efficacy of emerging treatments
    • Treatment resistant or refractory cases 
  • Improve recognition of pediatric neuromuscular disorders
  • Enhance knowledge of management  of pediatric neuromuscular medicine

Format: 

  • Virtual 1 hour Zoom meeting:
  • 15 minutes each presentations
  • 15 minutes for updates on previously presented cases or solved cases
  • Protected health information excluded

Participants: Pediatric Neuromuscular Medicine Physicians and Clinicians

Technology requirements: You need a desktop, laptop, or cell phone with speakers in order to participate remotely. Cell phone users should download the ZOOM App before starting.
